I saw that 297-4 stat, when scoring thirty or more, a few weeks ago. That is the most impressive stat I have ever seen. It boggles the mind.

Do people just not care that we were missing 4-6 starters on D in our first 2 games? And that our D has played together as a unit 2 games less than everyone elses?
Doesn't mean our D's ceiling is anything higher than "slightly below average"....but at least be smart if you're going to throw out blanket statements about how our D looked against Rice and Sam.
Also, remember what a great time the rant had last year with how our D played against La Tech? What did it do weeks later against teams like Bama and OU?

Our defense is shite this year. Not just terrible, but all time college football bad. And it drives everyone nuts around here because most of them still wont be able to win even though theyre lining up against a high school defense.

I wouldn't bet money that you won't score 30 or 35 or 38 on us...its more likely than not..
I still think we score 10-14 more than you. So when we win something like 52-38, you can all come back here and tell us how awful our D is and how we better watch out for Vandy next week...and UTEP the next week..and MSU the next week
Because after all, if Rice and Sam can score on us, surely someone will beat us one of these weeks that is ranked below us

2 weeks in a row teams forget that they have to play defense too. If Auburn O vs A&M is like playing a high school D, then the difference between A&M O and Auburn D is like playing toddlers.
