I know the score is the only stat that matters but it is interesting that they were so close on offensive yardage. Somewhat unusual to see 2 teams within 20 yards of each other.

The teams were nearly equal in yards. LSU tallied 457 total yards (228 passing, 229 rushing) while Auburn had 437 yards (213 passing, 224 rushing.) Auburn had 21 first downs to LSU's 16.

IT ended close, but at half AU had less than like 100 total yards and LSU had a 21-0 lead.
LSU just started playing soft.

We also gave up most of the 2nd qtr cause les thought it was time to play 3 n out.

LSU played the 1st quarter of each half and then took a nap. Their yardage split was something like 180/60/150/60
