I realize Tennessee isn't the cream of the SEC, but they're still an SEC team and they were crushed by Oregon.

Who would win Oregon-Bama? If BCS, you give Saban 6 weeks to prepare, Bama wins. But a non-conference game with only a week to prepare? Probably the home team would win.

Still, it would be an awesome NC game. Screw Ohio State. All they have to do is beat thoroughly incompetent Big Ten teams to go undefeated.

Damn, I wish A&M was playing tenn this year. Then crushing them would be a heisman moment too.

Oregon destroys Tennessee
Oregon plays SEC team in NC.

I have this weird déjà vu feeling.

I think UL-Lafayette beat Nicholls worse than Oregon did. Also, if JFF doesn't get hurt, it's his again.

Based on what I've seen so far I think Oregon would beat Bama

Bama, but close. Give the edge to Saban right there, especially with the time off.

They'll lose to Michigan State in Indianapolis

Of course they do. ESPN has had a weird Oregon fetish for a great # of years now, not sure why this is some surprise to people

The quick answer is that Oregon can't beat upper echelon SEC teams, and the closest conference opponent they have to that style, Stanford, well, they can't beat them either.

This is like looking at recruiting rankings right now. It won't tell you a damn thing really.

So is Kentucky in Mizzou. Calm the frick down. Tennessee is light years from the best SEC teams.

Wallace will take on a dark horse Heisman role after he leads OM to victory in Tuscaloosa for the first time since the 80s.
