Reasons:

Johnny is developing into a better passer than both
He reads coverage better, and throws a better deep ball

Johnny doesn't get sacked, ever.

Cam had a good RB, Tebow had Harvin, Demps, and Rainey
Johnny doesn't have a good RB, he does have Evans but man that guy is slow, great deep threat though.

Johnny doesn't have the defense Cam or Tebow had

Johnny does more with less much like Cam but Cam was A 6"5 freak athlete

Johnny will go down as the G.O.A.T

Cam was pretty damn good at throwing. And Cam didn't have Mike Evans to throw to.

cam was pretty elusive himself

what does defense have to do with anything? We're comparing 3 QBs.

Sooooo you're holding that against Cam? Seems like that would be a point in his favor.

No, he won't.

JFF is surrounded by better skill position talent and is protected by a better OL.

He might be better than Cam, but not for several of the reasons you stated.

No doubt he's better than Tebow.

You claim to be a Florida Gator? The shame. I'm not a Tebow fan but he is a gawd.

I disagree. Johnny is great but Cam refused to lose, something Johnny has had to accept. If you were the coach of a college team with NO decent WR (A&M has very good WRs who save his arse often) NO decent RBs (AU had dyer but cam ran over LBs like they were DBs) would you really rather have manziel over newton after you take away WRs and RBs?

It could be the homer in me but I would choose newton with ease. Manziel is awesome, he's elusive, a great passer, slippery runner but Cam was all that AND he was physically dominant. JFF might get the edge on passing but let's wait to see how many starts he gets in the pros to distinguish who is THE guy.

When he wins a national championship I'll accept that he's as good as Cam Newton. Newton won one with a team that would have barely had a winning season without him.

I'll say better then Tebow, but worse then Newton. Both were bruisers, but Newton would just run over people and that's the biggest difference between him and Manziel.

Also, Cam didn't have much of a defense, either.

He got sacked last Saturday. He rarely gets sacked, but it does happen.

JFF will be done the first big hit in the NFL, if he makes it there.
