re: Batman vs superman ultimate cut

The ultimate cut is the 3hr one correct?

Watched it yesterday kind of half assedly and didn't really notice anything different besides the villain at the end messing with lex. What other scenes were added?
why would they need to create space? His 27.5 million coming off the books and the 10+ mill raise she be enough. Plus curry Iggy and livingstons contracts all expire. That's another 30 mill right there.
They already were gonna be stuck. KD and Curry will both get max deals next year (if they stay) taking up at least 70 mill then Klay and Green will take up about 36 mill. And their best bench players (iggy and Livingston and west) are all going to be FAs. They gonna be paying a HUGE luxury tax or just have to fill the rest of their roster with vet minimum guys
Kevin love and shumpert for jimmy butler and taj Gibson.

Thank you come again

Nah they could have signed him next year. Bogut iggy curry and livingstons contracts all expire next summer. That's 40 mill right there and the cap is going up another 20.
They haven't resigned barbosa yet. And I assume they will try and resign ezili. Both will prob want 10+ mill though and they are gonna be over the cap with the KD signing so who knows
You are acting like them shedding their best role players contracts at super cheap price ais a good thing

Curry and KD will sign 30-40 mill per year contracts next year.
How would you know? Dudes been playing on average salaries his whole career and is/was injury prone.

He will 100% take a max contract next summer

They will still be able to keep him no matter what bc cap will raise 20 mill and they have another 30+ mill coming off the books next offseason. They would just need to sign him before they re sign all their FAs with bird rights.

There will be no sign and trade... He's going as a FA. And GS will not have his full bird rights when he opts out next season

If Bogut wasn't a valuable piece I could see that butttt he is.

Just looked at their salary cap situation. Iggy, Livingston, Curry, KD, And Bogut all are FAs next offseason. They will lose Bogut and Barnes this season and most likely Iggy next season.

Ezili is up for a big pay raise this season. I assume they resign him. Barbosa is a FA right now. I assume they will try and keep him? He's prob gonna want 10+ mill.

Their starting rotation will be stacked but their bench is about get depleted real fast.

Gonna get real interesting real quick next season.

Is KD good friends with any of these guys? I don't know much about his connection with other players.

You didn't live in those cities as a guy making 20 mill a year though

Mac Miller was a key piece in their team. He was clutch in the playoffs but was injury prone in the reg season. The players were extremely pissed when he was cut.

It's a known fact the Heat wanted them all to take cuts again man  again stop acting dumb. Bosh only got offered the max because it was reactionary to Lebron leaving and Houston offering him the max. Even with Lebron gone they still got D Wade to a 2 year deal below his value to stay below the tax.

And the Cavs are in luxury tax hell right now and are unable to sign any FAs beside their own and vet mins. JR is up to a new contract. If they don't pay him then they are fricked at SG. The rest of their starters are locked in so they are stuck with them but no terms of role players they have already lost Mozgov and Delly and have no way of replacing them unless signing people for the MLE or vet min.

Again I'm trying to give you examples of how these things effect super teams farther down the line but you appear to be uninformed on what is occurring on these teams

They couldn't sign any FAs bc they were over the salary cap. Besides guys on vet mins. That wasn't the issue. They dropped key players, like Mike Miller, bc they didn't want to keep resigning players on bigger contracts making their tax burden even higher.

Also when they time came for all 3 stars to get new contracts they didn't want to sign them all to the contracts they deserved and they wanted them to take even more salary cuts so they wouldn't be in the luxury tax.

I'm not trying to argue just using the Heats situation with Lebron as an example of what can happen to these super teams and you are obviously unaware of what the heat went through salary wise and what the Cavs are currently going through.

it wasn't ok with Miamis owner after winning 2 titles and going 4 straight years soooo we will just have to wait and see. Money talks.

The heat would continue to make the finals every year bc it's the east but would have never won it again with their roster.

And it works in the beginning but a few years in is when it is gonna start getting iffy. All matters if their owner is cool with paying a huge luxury tax every year and their current roster with KD meshes well.

I'm not saying GS isn't better and won't do good. I'm just discussing how issues are going to rise for them in the next couple of years and they will be losing some good role players. Luckily they have 4 all stars who will be locked up for a while if KD and Curry resign next year

How would it?

Don't be dense. The Heat had issues bc they couldn't sign any bench players and had to drop major pieces bc of their cap situation.

GS is gonna have to drop 2-3 major pieces for KD. Once they all get on their big contracts next offseason they will never be able to sign a good role players or bench player besides vets chasing rings. Oh and their gonna be in the luxury tax every year dropping an extra 50+ mill to keep their team together.
