Giving butane the same 1.0 psi loophole as ethanol would help lower prices more
If Obama was given a jet for personal use 70%+ of this board would be up in arms.
The hissy fit when the next President takes it will be a site to see.
It’s crappy. No different than Hunter being on Buriamas board.

Refineries typically make almost no money on gasoline. They do make money on diesel

Exactly. It’s been painful the 2.5 years on gasoline prior to Iran issue. Making some $ on it now though.

Middle East is a refined product exporter. ME also sends crude to China. In response to Middle East supply issues China cut refinery run rates to just supply domestic needs and cut exports way back. Russia is also losing export capacity as Ukraine continues to hit Russian refineries causing Russia to be at 80% and dropping refinery availability.

The Iran shite show combined with Russian degradation has limited worldwide refinery (not crude oil!) output. Until summer travel season is over it will be a tight gasoline market and REALLY tight diesel market.
It’s not the supreme courts job to make laws. I couldn’t stand it when previous courts did it. Congress needs to do their d*** job.

Trump will be irrelevant the next time she is up for election.
That would prompt a full scale invasion.

Actually, the family sold the land to the state 20 years ago for mega economic development projects, and this is what came of it.

Its sad that so many are jaded to the point that they can't be bothered to look for details before running someone down.

Is it coincidence that the family of the head of the Chamber of Commerce happened to be the one that sold Meta the land?

He didn't sell Meta the land...he sold it to the state 20 YEARS ago and the state sold it to Meta.
Two sides of same card and both have no place at the White House.
Being an a-hole has consequences. Shoving anothers face in the mat after the whistle being blown is beyond crappy.

Far left Mr. Rogers weirdo guy is not winning an election in Texas against anyone. Every damn election we have to deal with people that have taken leave of their minds by suggesting some stupid nonsense like this. Get a grip.

Hope you are correct. When Trump gets involved in Senate races I have visions of Walker, Oz, and Lake.
Yes I do. And he’ll be just the type suburb Susie’s and their whipped husbands will vote for.
He sure likes it…by the time he’s done both Georgia Senate seats and a Texas seat will be in the hands of Democrats.

It's been interesting in seeing how poorly Russia has done in projecting its strength into a neighboring region with the only real obstacle being western military technology.

Putin probably didn’t realize how poor of shape his military was in. I’m sure lots of generals and defense contractors were robbing the Russian government blind. The failure to take Kiev in opening week or two of the war screwed the Russians.
Not a question of if but when the house of cards comes tumbling down.

It will be vital that US admin helps manage the drastic Russian collapse that is about to take place in next 1 to 5 years.
Anyone with half a brain could see this was going to happen and Trump played right into it.
The wrap around district could only be avoided with a North La district straight across the state. This would split Mike Johnson’s district north / south to the point Barksdale and Fort Polk aren’t in the same congressional district. This would dilute the stroke 4th district congressmen have in Defense which is less than ideal.

but how they are hitting refineries, repairs can be made in week. if not day. For the low pressure units it is like sewing a patch over a worn out pants knee tear

No. No it isn't.

Every hit and every repair job impacts the units and lower and lower throughput is a result. Russian refined product exports are down 60% compared to 2023 and down 30% compared to 2025.
