What does one expect when going into such an ethical, morally benign profession, such as a sports agent?
Saban's agent Jimmy Sexton is probably one of the few "good guys" in that profession. The lower level agents all seem like slimy pieces of shite. I feel like the higher tier agents would want to help end the careers of these unethical pieces of shite.
The sad thing is they are not nearly as bad as the shoe companies are for college basketball. They actually start on the high school or even middle school AAU circuit to get prominent players on their brand sponsored teams and eventually try to use this to push kids towards certain schools.
At least agents don't have an effect on CFB team's recruiting. Hopefully

You'd really have to be a butthurt piece of shite to try to drag Nick Saban into this right now. None of the evidence or even rumors show he had any knowledge of the situation, which is likely true. Even if college coaches know it happens, the smarter ones at big schools will stay as far away from it as possible.

You can also notice that no one is flaming the other schools that had players included in the article. It comes with the territory. People want to see Alabama to come crashing down almost more than they care about their own team being successful.

Saban does bring in agents to talk with players.
He wants there to be an honest dialog between players that are good enough to make the league and get advice from those that have proven to stay out of the shadows.
That's why some resort to runners in hopes of catching players when they're in need and not thinking straight.
I wonder if the tweet from Flukers Phone a while back was really a hack or him or a friend bragging about how he played the dirty agents for some cash but didn't sign with them.
Never the less it looks like he is cooperating and this has been looked into for several months.
Part of me wants it all in the open, while the other part of me wants everyone to get a lawyer and clam up.
I just don't see any reason to admit to anything as long as the NCAA can't do shite if no one cooperates, and hires the top gun lawyers.
Sure, common sense makes the fans chant guilty.
But as we have seen the best attorneys can make anything go away.

Alabama has known about this since April and have had interviews with agents going as far back as May. I believe that they already know whether Fluker did or did not receive money from the agents runner. Hopefully that will come out soon! When it does we will be able make a informed guess on the outcome of this story..

Well not sure about this time, but last time
But a different tune was taken in 2010 by Saban during his rant comparing agents to pimps. "You know, we probably could have prosecuted the guy," Saban said, referring to an agent involved in the Smith case. "But in prosecuting the guy that did wrong, we would have put our institution in jeopardy -- possibly -- from an NCAA standpoint. We didn't do it. But then the same guy is standing in line trying to give our players money this past year and nothing gets done about it. It's not a good situation."

Bully on you Abe. Thanks for having a reasonable outlook. Too many people making this out to be a bigger deal than it is. (also too many with their heads in the sand)

lulz, Sexton got caught paying Donte Stallworth while he was still a college athlete
Also, this article should be titled "Agent doesn't want to die falling up the stairs."

IDGAF what happens but did you not see the evidence posted in the article? If you're saying you don't know if Fluker got stuff from Davis you must not read very well.

You gumps are stupid to think Saban didnt know what was happening
There isn't a thing that goes on within that program that he doesn't know about...it's the egomaniacs MO
Just embrace it and hope he doesn't get tired of the BS and bow out of Coaching

So are you saying Miles was to stupid to know what was going on when that coach was paying that player or he know and did nothing until he was caught?

Looked pretty flimsy to me. Looks to me like Luther Davis was scamming the agents and using players as bait.
