You could have taken the Texas A&M route and not played anyone worth a damn in non conference, but instead you man up and play Miami/Florida State
Even in a loss, this deserves respect.

The few times Florida actually plays Miami is due to Florida usually saying no. Miami would play UF every year if UF would agree.

When is the last time Miami was relevant? 2001?

When was the last time Florida left the state to play a tough OOC?

This
I absolutely refuse to praise Florida for OOC scheduling. It's a joke

As bad a poster as the OP is he must be an A&M fan.

While I agree with the whole beef with Florida for never leaving the state for OOC games, olemc999 is pretty spot on here.
Miami aint like nothing else you ever seen before in the US.

It's that stupid FL/GA game in Jacksonville. If that was played as a home/home like every other non-conference, it would allow Florida to play at other stadiums and still maintain the 7 Home Games they need to pad the bottom line. With FSU a permanent opponent, and Georgia a permanent away game, the Athletic Department won't schedule anyone who wants a return trip.

That offense looks like straight aids
The U is back baby

can definitely go along with this. If you going to play then play with the Big Boys dag nabbit or something like that to quote ole Bobby Bowden. I hate scheduling so-called cupcakes. You are always in a now Win situation. You stomp them wwell everybody says that's what you supposed to do, get in a close game with them will everybody says you suck. and God for bid if you lose. Even with the loss having both Miami and FSU on the schedule, my hats off to you.

texas am and bama are the biggest pussies in the conference when it comes to out of conference play

We lose money playing Miami. It's all about the benjamins.
Btw we did offer to lay yearly but only at a neutral site because of miamis treatment of opposing fans in terms of seating and ticket options.
Still...when you guys play someone as good as Fsu ooc yearly, then you can complain about our ooc.

The gators are the biggest pussies scheduling OOC going back to spurrier, who dropped The U as an opponent because he was scared of them. Frick them

Lsu has to leave the state. No decent team in Louisiana. See how that works?
