No, I think what's going on is ADD. I click Submit, then "Jump to my post" or whatever it says, then switch tabs or go do something else, come back and click Back, see "Jump to my post" again and click it again. That's just a guess, though, and won't put you through a test.

This is correct.
If you let us get to you, you're not gonna enjoy your time on the Rant. The trolls over on the main board will not even attempt to discuss your topic 85% of the time. Our game thread was one of the biggest flame fests you'll ever see and it is is gonna be that way as long as Johnny is walking our sidelines.

It's gonna be that way for as long as we're in the conference.
Could just be nostalgia, but I swear the Rant was more sports oriented a couple years ago. In recent months I've really cut back on even browsing it because of the constant trolling and flame. There's always been shite talk, but l think there's a subtle difference between shite talk and flames. shite talk can be funny, the flames are just boring.
Of course, a few of our posters beg for it. But I'm not just talking about the flames directed towards us; I mostly read the Rant for discussion of other teams but most of those threads are pointless to read these days.

I'm not going to fall into the nostalgic trap of saying "it was so much better way back when," but it HAS declined in quality a bit, especially since ATPB, GoTC, 21-0, and the advent of JFF.
That's why we're trying to keep tArk, at least, focused on the actual sports.
