re: DOJ/Garland Does Not Want Landlords Sharing Rental Information

Most conventional apartments use OneSite for their property management software. OneSite is also from Realpage and feeds directly into Yieldstar…which then uses unit by unit metrics that a leasing office wouldn’t be able to get by just picking up the phone and doing a “market survey” of their comps (i.e. how long specific units have sat vacant and complete rental history of each unit). It then compares this same info from all the other properties using Yieldstar.
Each day, the manager logs into Yieldstar and the dashboard gives a suggested price for all the vacant units. The manager can either accept the “suggestion” or ignore it (most accept it). Once accepted the price is automatically adjusted on the websites.
The system works when all the suggestions are accepted at the different apartment communities in the area using Yieldstar. The renter wouldn’t be able to shop a competitor hoping to find a similar unit at a cheaper price…it would essentially be the same or very near the same price.

I work for Realpage’s biggest client in the apartment industry. The software is called Yieldstar. Do a google search. It’s both creative and great for owners of these assets…but it definitely sucks for renters.

:wah: Went to TJC my first year then transferred to A&M in August of 2003 and graduated in December of 2006. It was traumatic, but I still showed up and yelled as loud as I could. Unfortunately...it didnt help any.
I used to laugh at those who claimed ESPN hates A&M or has an agenda. I still hesitate to use the term "agenda" because I'd like to believe they are above that, but after seeing all of their half facts garbage air on repeat every five seconds it's safe to say that it does come off extremely biased to me.

The player who tweeted that is Nick Elder. He's the guy who tackled Manziel in the 3rd quarter right before another Rice player started mouthing and JFF did the air autograph.
The personal foul was in the 4th quarter. Both players (not Nick Elder) were mouthing at each other and JFF starts walking to the sidelines and turns back around and points at the scoreboard and refs threw the flag.

It amazes me that after everything Johnny has had to deal with this offseason, he can walk right out on that field and turn those distractions on/off like a light switch. Some guys are game changers, and it's a totally different game with him in it.

Agreed. And wasn't it the scoreboard gesture that got the flag and not the air autograph?
He's always going to talk shite, he did it getting back up after being tackled in the cotton bowl. He got an unsportsmanlike penalty doing the Superman gesture in the Miss St. game. I'm just glad he plays with that fire, and until it negatively affects the score I don't have a problem with it.
I think Coach Sumlin was just frustrated at the combination of that penalty, Hall being ejected for punching, and Everett ejected for "targeting". It all happened towards the end and it came out on a question asked specifically about JFF.

I've watched the youtube video of the A&M/Bama game with Dave's voice instead of the CBS commentators numerous times. He definitely has the passion... you can just hear it in his voice how much he loves A&M. The video gives me chills!
I guess a win win would be watching it on TV muted while listening to Dave?!? I have to see the game, no way I could handle just listening and trying to visualize what is being described.

I always watch the games on TV when available so I didn't know about Dave South's accuracy as a play by play commentator. Then I read comments from others like "he hands the ball off to that guy" and I'm just smh.

I transferred to A&M from TJC my sophomore year. I went to Transfer orientation that summer, but never took a tour. That was back when Reveille Ranch was Campus Lodge, Salty Dog was the place to go, and cigs were $3.53 at the Double Quick!

Try the app "Radio Aggieland" on the iPhone (not sure if available on android). I believe the games are broadcast live on WTAW which is included within the app.
I'm sure it is online as well. Hope this helps.

That is crazy. I stared at that clock every time I walked from main campus to Wehner and not once did I notice the IIII instead of the IV.
I guess you learn something new everyday.

I registered way back during realignment too. I usually just browse both sites before I call it a night. I'm a premium member over there for the content, but I get a kick out of the Old Rivalries forum.

The Lofts at Wolf Pen Creek. It opened Fall 2009 and was managed by Asset Campus Housing. I'm not sure who developed it though.
