Reminds you of Perilloux?
Perilloux won a Heisman?
He beat the final MNC #1?

I agree with EKG. The off season extra curiculars were a bit much since everyone was following his every damn move, but he didnt do anything wrong sans sign a couple autographs .
So far since the August workouts started he has been hyper focused and killing it. Yes there was some back and forth on the field but as stated already the 15yd penalty was WAY over blown. Debunked by the damn Rice player as well. ESPN blowing him up for everything under the sun is getting old fast and I am officially tired of hearing them talk shite about him.
visor, towel, money gesture that he has been doing since he was starting...Shut the frick up already! This is suppose to be sports reporting, not TMZ/People magazine.
If there is a major issue Sumlin WILL sit him. That guy does what he wants in the Football program. End of Story. What Sumlin says, goes.
Do i think he should stay off twitter and facebook? Hell yes! keep some type of personal life. Give everyone less of a chance to blow crap out of proportion.
And like i stated in another JFF thread. My old coaches, who actually played for A&M in the late 80's, always told us, "just shut up and play". In the end this is what he will do and he will do it angry and it will be awesome!
Time for another drink for me

Nah bro, Perrilloux didn't win the Heisman but he supposedly affected team morale in a bad way. Just speculating. Only my opinion. Wouldn't surprize me if JFF isn't at A&M next year.

considering that as an Aggie I have dug deeper into the Manziel saga than the typical SECr fan (who is being spoon fed crapola journalism by ESPN), I'm completely fine with Manziel.
ESPN turns every thing in his life into a "black eye story".
For instance, "JFF kicked out of Longhorn frat party"
and? this is major headline news? hell, he was cool, calm, and collective when he walked out as crap/stuff was thrown at him along with jeers and trash talk. how does THIS make him the douche? here is THE video from his exit from that party. What part of this is BAD on his part? Hell, he went to see a friend and was treated to a very HOSTILE environment and did NOTHING in response to it.
JFF cool customer in the face of heat at frat party

I have a hard time believing he will ever do this and I don't think he would be the same player if he shut up, but I do believe he should tone it down and be smarter.
And I agree with most of you a&m posters that ESPN is going too far with JFF and making a story out of everything. No way should they have 2 minutes of each show dedicated to continuous quotes from different analysts tearing down a college kid. That's the shite that sells though

Without a doubt. I just want to watch the world burn.

if you talk shite and can't back it up, it's bad for the team
if you can talk the talk AND walk the walk, the team buys into you
HUGE difference, and RP and JFF are on opposite ends of the spectrum in regards to this.
quote:
. Perrilloux held a news conference on signing day and proclaimed he would win the Heisman Trophy as a true freshman. A reporter asked him, "What about Jamarcus Russell?" Russell was the current LSU starting QB at the time. Perrilloux made the famous quip "Jamarcus Who?"
LOL

making some sort of comparison between JFF and RP is fricking retarded

The melt downs when aggy gets destroyed by real teams will be the stuff of legends.

won't hold a candle to what has already transpired the last 10 years. There were some crazy meltdowns during that time period.

if Marshall Henderson had the type of success JFF had he would be dead in a ditch.
