Could be Sept. 28th '13 for CMR with losses to Clemson, SCjr & LSU...

Arky and Auburn are all in with Gus and the fat guy. Both are at least 2-3 years of HORRID seasons away from being in any danger. Either could go winless this year and the seat wouldn't heat up much at all.
You still have some to learn about SEC football.
Chizik went winless in the SEC last season and he just won a national championship. How'd that work out for him?

That Saban is just not going to make it. Bama Saturday, Braves Sunday - don't tell Bawl.

If Georgia has an awful season, then maybe Richt. Same with Pinkel at Missouri, although I doubt it.
Pinkel's gone with a losing season. I'm confident of it. He's done plenty to bring the program back from the dead, but we're not looking to return there by showing too much loyalty.
ETA: Bowl game or better and he's here for every season he brings us a bowl game. Anything less, he's out. Every season with a win over 6 regular season gets him an extra year. We're like the 4 star program in EA NCAA football, except he's got no rivalry games to show his worth.

Hmm... I figured Missouri was too appreciative of what he's accomplished there. Any idea who would replace him?

People will say Smart, but he's waiting for Bama whether he's there or not, not interested in having him leave for Bama once Saban leaves.
I'm voting Hudspeth.

You answered the wrong question. That's the answer to "Why do Arkansas fans hate Nutt so much?"
Anyway, the leadership that brought us a decade of mediocrity with Nutt is no longer around, so don't get your hopes up.

That seems like a good choice.

Mullen was in a New Years Day bowl last year. He has his seat as long as he wants it for at least 2 more years

Seriously, Mizzou is a much, much better job than State and I wouldn't be surprised if Hud jumped at the opportunity rather than wait for Mullen to be fired or leave.

I see your troll and raise you a reasonable answer.
Mizzou is a stepping stone to a program for someone like Smart that was at Bama as a coordinator to now be the Bama HC.
I don't think we're a stepping stone for much else, especially now that we're in the major leagues of the SEC. If the Bielema thing has done anything, it shows that the SEC is the major leagues. Glad we're here.

No doubt Mizzou could hire him- but when the State job comes open- Hud will be leaving for Starkville
