I'm a "T-shirt" fan. My degree is coming from UAH. I'll do my graduate work at AU if I decide to go that route.

At the University of Arkansas sidewalk fan has a different meaning.
But I transferred elsewhere for what I hoped was a better program and broader horizons away from home.

I did, but I hate the train of though of "t-shirt" fan. I was a damn proud Buckeye fan waaaay before I ever went to college and would have continued to be even if I didn't go to college/attended a different university.

Sadly, no. My grandfather was the last 3 sport Letterman to play for Texas A&M, so I've bled maroon since birth. Started my collegiate career there studying accounting (a nice white collar profession to keep the parents happy), but my heart was never in it. Then, after my Sophomore year I decided that if I ended up crunching numbers at 40, I'd probably hang myself in my cubicle. So, I transferred down the road to the illustrious Sam Houston State University and got a B.A. in Criminal Justice. Been a cop for 16 years now and have absolutely no regrets. Regardless of the name of the school on my diploma, I still pull for the Fightin' Texas Aggies.

LSU 89', Double Major Political Science/ History . Barfly par excellence.
Graduates love a school in a way that t-shirt fans can't. I lived on or blocks from campus for 5 1/2 years. You kind of measure your life against that, for the rest of your life. I can assure you gentlemen; LSU was a GREAT place to be a young man in the 1980's.

Only regret in life is not going to college, but if I did I would have never met my wife and had my 2 beautiful girls.
Will always be a LSU fan.
