It maybe the homer in me (since I'm in the Million Dollar Band) but I'd rank ours pretty damn high. I do enjoy LSU's pregame though. It's amazing.

We've never lost a halftime.

I do like the fact that UT's band stops in front of the opposing team's fans and plays their fight song.

I've always thought that was cool.

I remember when MDB was one of the better bands in the SEC around 2003 or so. I believe they got a director in the last 8 years or so and it has really gone down hill. Should bring Corey home from Auburn

They're also playing at Bristol for the night race soon.

LSU by a mile. The only other pregames I have seen are Alabama's and Auburn's. I really like Auburn's (obviously) but the band's part was better before they changed it around 2005. The eagle definitely makes it great.
Alabama's pregame is average. For such a storied football program there seems to be very little tradition related to the band. They rely a lot on the stadium's sound system and HD screens.

There is only one band that can do the four way cross, the Fightin Texas Aggie Band!
Everybody stays at their seats at halftime to watch them!

For such a shitty football team, you'd think Auburn would have just as shitty a band.

I was really impressed by Auburn's band. I thought they were LOUD. Most likely due to the fact your Director is an LSU alum

I wish I could disagree with you, but sadly I can't. I wish we did add a bit more to our pregame.

From 2000 - 2004 the drumline director was also an LSU alum.

Wasn't one director a grad and a former Drum Major from Alabama? Correct me if I'm wrong

USC's is good but could be better. we're improving though. Tennessee's circle drill is neat and I love that they play visiting teams' fight songs towards the visiting fans. Also, power T is awesome.
Auburn is really good (but I thought we killed them in the SEC championship game in 2010) and so is Alabama. LSU is very good too.
Georgia redcoats are top half for sure. If you want to see an amazing show look up the 2011 USC @ Uga halftime 9/11 tribute show. Both bands on the field at the same time playing taps and amazing grace. :chills:
Unimpressed by Kentucky, State, and Vandy but (no offense guys) I wasn't expecting much anyways. Florida's band also is disappointing. Decent but not memorable.
I'd rank them:
LSU
Bama
Tenn
Auburn
UGa
USC
Florida
Arky
State
UK
Mizzou- have only seen their traveling pep band
Vandy
Have not seen:
A&M- I know they're good (Don't they not send pep bands?)
Ole Miss
