A bad Vol team is still better than a good Longhorn team.

True Story..

They were a terrible defensive coordinator hire from being good last season. Don't act like Tennessee was terrible last year; it was mainly the defense. Imagine what could have been. If Tennessee had stuck with the 4-3 and hired a good defensive coordinator, then they could have easily been 9-3 potentially 10-2 or 11-1 last season. Then we wouldn't have LSU fans bitching about imbalanced schedules because Tennessee would have finished second in the SEC East.

In your dreams buddy. We will have this until LSU wins it all again. And then temporarily at best.

I could agree. The East has been too easy of late. Carolina and UGA have been operating on about an equal level. UF is starting to get its swagger back. If Tennessee could rebound and at least be competitive in a Chick-fil a bowl sense, it would make up for Auburn's nose dive and bring some spunk back to the inerdivisional rivalry stuff.

The SEC East was epic in the 90's.

Except for the underwhelming 1992 season and the win over UF in 97, it was pretty far from epic for UGA

Agree. I want to be able to hate Tennessee again like I did in college.

Its all cyclical. Im sure UT will be back in no time. For a school with facilities and support like they have, a well trained chimp might could squeak out 8-10 wins a season.

I would agree with this except for the fact that UT recruited well on a national level when they were good. They will have to get back to that in order to be that good again
