losing the game, or getting fricked over and not having a team in the game in the first place?
i suppose with the implementation of the playoff system it would be unlikely to not have at least one team in the playoff. i'm not entirely sure how it's set up however.

Every SEC hater does not want this, btw.

I want to go on the record and say it will be Texas A&M, and the rant will rejoice.

I agree. Everyone else wants the SEC to be beaten in the title game. Therefore, if the SEC gets fricked over and doesn't make it there, then it doesn't really count as snapping the streak. Whoever won it would have an eternal asterisk noting they did not beat an SEC team.
The more important question is who breaks the SEC streak.
Honestly, I just don't see anyone out there capable. Maybe Stanford, tOSU, FSU with the right coach, or USC with the right coach.

Stanford, Oregon and tOSU. For what it's worth, Oregon will have some serious depth this year a la the 2010 team but with guys in the trenches that the predecessor was missing. Stanford has gotten their front 7 talent from the SEC and the 2011 oline haul was the best that any team has ever gotten.

Georgia Tech's migration?

The only thing that snaps the SEC NC Game streak is having to play a SEC schedule.

I just hope it's not this year, and Oregon claims Tennessee as an SEC win. Nothing against the program, but Mariota may pass for 1000 yards agains the Vols.
