Yep. We all owe a big thanks to Coonass. Without him, we wouldn't be playing for a national title.

We need a thread on Monday and Tuesday where Coonass says that we are terrible, Renfroe sucks, and we have no chance.

Note that he hit it out in a park that is damn near impossible to hit a HR in...against the wind that was blowing 25mph.

he does suck. the raw tools are there. Probably needs to work on power and clutch hitting some.

I have 7 witnesses and I can give you cell phone numbers if you like - but I called this. It just looked right. The pitcher was kind of hanging stuff and it was in his eyes. I know - I know - he hasn't hit one in 2 months but it just looked right

Still doesnt change the cold, hard fact that Renfroe is 4-16 (.250) since you called me out...and 3-12 in the CWS (.250)
Which backs up what I've said about him- now that scouting reports are out- he's a .260-.270 hitter- so once aGAIN, I'm correct. You're welcome

He's 20-60 in the Tourney (.333)- which on the outside looks good. But when broken down:
10 of hits have come in 3 of the 13 games- and in two of those- they were vs Vandy's midweek starter and UCA's exhausted bullpen
He was 3-17 vs SEC rotation pitchers in the SEC Tourney...3-5 against Vandy's midweek guy
He was 3-13 against fresh rotation pitchers in the Regional...3-4 in the last game when UCA was gassed
He lit up Virginia's pitching going 5-9
He is 3-12 in CWS with a big HR, hit into a double play, and a boneheaded baserunning blunder
