provide it on ESPN3 the rest if the country
no, they will absolutely NOT do that.
It will be on an ABC affiliate in Mississippi and LHN everywhere else.
This what happened with Iowa State last year.
Its not going to be viewable around the country unless you have LHN.

Oh so threatening to back out of a game instead of being men about it and beating Texas's arse either way is having "balls"?
The game they threatened to back out of was against Texas State, not Texas. ESPN responded with a veiled threat not to televise Texas Tech that season.

Look forward to the game on firstrow

I don't really care about State one way or another to be honest. They have a pretty campus with a bunch of trees, grass, and shite. They make their own cheese! Now who can argue with that?

You clearly don't know what you are talking about.

if it goes like last year they will even give the Mississippi broadcast its own announcers and everything so hopefully that will be the feed people put up.

Hopefully, they include Memphis in that coverage.
Considering Oxford is in the Memphis viewing area and market, it shouldn't be a problem.

Concerning the OP, this is some bullshite.

If correct, that's great for Ole Miss fans in Mississippi. For Texas and college football fans in general, not so much. This is the best OOC game either team has all year, and it will be seen by a small fraction of the people who would like to watch it. I don't get it. The only thing that makes sense to me is Dodds (or perhaps ESPN, but that seems unlikely) thinks this will coerce more Texans into subscribing to LHN. But even if that pans out (it won't) beyond their best expectations, they're still losing (sez me) the majority of the viewers who would like to watch.
Life-expectancy of LHN? Any bets?

Well, just Beat The Hell Out of Texas, and all this mostly goes away. Do it for Mom, and America.

This is the kind of shite that made us leave the Big-Whatever.
Only one out of every five households in Texas even has POTENTIAL access to the LHN and yet they insist on its financial viability. One day graduate level students will write papers on the degree of mismanagement shown by Deloss Dodds and company.
The biggest secret in the state of Texas: UT's athletic department is nine figures in debt and this is one of many attempts to conceal that from Joe Blow Texan, all the while making fun of a $16 million dollar loan A&M's athletic department took out from the school which as of August will have been paid back in full.

Hmm, let's see.
Apple Inc. has $150 billion in cash hoarded, but just took out $17 billion in debt. LINK
Several SEC schools are "nine figures in debt."
It was never proven to me that A&M is not going to issue hundreds of millions in bonds (D-E-B-T) to renovate the football stadium.
Just the first phase (the east side) will require $75 billion in bonds (D-E-B-T), which will be repaid by an increase to student fees and sports passes.
Proof: LINK
So, I come up with a big ??????????????
Let's compare that to a $16 million loan, which was reported in 2009 as being scheduled to be paid in $1.6 million increments over the next 10 years. LINK
I've seen aggies claim it was paid off in one year, was paid off last year, and now... August. WTF? Get your story straight.
And why did A&M need the loan? They didn't foresee having enough cash in reserve to keep up with expenses.
This is like comparing someone who has credit card debt but still pays it off each month with a lot of room to spare, to someone who can't pay any longer and needs a loan from mommy and daddy to stave off default.
Frankly, I thought you aggies were smarter than this, regurgitating such bullshite...

Dear Lord. The point completely did a fly-by on your head on this one, didn't it?

How many more times are you queers going to keep using that pathetic talking point? Nobody buys it anymore. Its use has become an obvious diversion from the real issue, that you gak drinkers are not even the No. 2 athletic program in Texas anymore, and maybe not even the No. 4 in football. Bringing up the $16 million loan is on par with the distraction tactic employed by one Bill S. Preston, Esq. during the wild west fight scene in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.
"Look. It's the Goodyear blimp."
And why did A&M need the loan? They didn't foresee having enough cash in reserve to keep up with expenses.
Exhibit A--The Goodyear Blimp.
AND GET THE MOTE OUT OF YOUR OWN EYE! YOU SEED SAMPLERS DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH FORESIGHT TO PLAN FOR THE BILLIONS OF DOLLARS YOU ARE SPENDING? Why did you need the loan? You spent twice as much as every other athletic program, with the kind of craptastic results that would embarrass the Idaho Vandels.
This is like comparing someone who has credit card debt but still pays it off each month with a lot of room to spare, to someone who can't pay any longer and needs a loan from mommy and daddy to stave off default.
But, you didn't pay it off and you spend more than God. And, LOOK! IT'S THE GOODYEAR BLIMP!
Frankly, I thought you aggies were smarter than this, regurgitating such bullshite...
Likewise, Goodyear Blimp.
