Texas is going to have a tough time scheduling non conference teams if the other team has to worry about the game being seen by no one nationally and being used as a marketing tool to get tv subscribers in Texas.

texashorn is just non stop entertainment. I suppose by your graph Vandy is the best run AD in the SEC?

Of course all schools carry debt. That's the point. It is you idiot sips that act as though A&M's paltry loan from years ago somehow matters while your over $200 mill in debt is irrelevant. The truth is both schools are flush with cash and getting richer, Texas still makes the most but at the rate A&M is growing that is no longer a certainty. We were the 6th highest revenue school last year without any TV money from the Big 12 or SEC essentially.

I don't know why it is so difficult for Texas people to accept that the days of Texas being the unquestioned big kid on the block are over. A&M just gets bigger, richer, and more powerful by the day and there is no signs of that changing anytime soon. DWI

Texas fans two favorite talking points:

A&M = little brother
A&M is in debt

Thats basically all they have left to say

One is no longer true after 115+ years of built-in, self-serving advantages that are still in place. The other is universally true of all FBS programs. One program spends more than all but 4 other FBS programs GROSS annually, and has COCK to show for it.

Texas would have a bit more leverage with the whole Network thing if they didn't f-ing suck hippie dick. Dodds thinks he can muscle his way into things. that works a lot better when your team is at least luke warm. The timing for all of this couldn't be any better, if you hate Texas.

It's pretty funny how all their fans say this and it goes in lockstep with their AD, which many of the same fans will claim to be pissed at. The Texas AD clearly doesn't want to win games any more, just make money.

That translates over perfectly to the debt talking point that so many of their loyal minions regurgitate.

We've been chained up in the basement for the past 117 years. We're mean and we're hungry and we're pissed off.

Dont pretty much all AD's carry some form of debt? for instance I believe bama is over 200 million. Just like most major corporation, they have debt. it's all about cash flow, debt doesnt mean a thing if you can pay it

Exactly... as if issuing bonds to pay for our stadium implies we can't afford it?

the same day the LHN's invisibility reaches critical mass the Aggies will be busy hosting Alabama on CBS in what many have pegged as the SEC game of the year

There will be no contest on viewership, for sure.
