Eh I like both. I'm moving far away from Athens next year and will probably try to make one game. Not going to bother spending the money on every week since I like it on tv too.

It depends on the game for me. If its some cupcake like Chattanooga, FIU, Miss State, etc. I'd rather watch on TV. SEC matchups I would rather be at the game.

College football: Depends on game. I usually split the home season going and watching it on TV.
NFL: TV
College basketball: Live
Baseball: dgafffffff

I go to about 4-6 CFB games every year. A couple of Troy games, a game in Tuscaloosa with my Dad, which is usually a big match-up like Georgia, LSU, aTm, Florida, etc. And we try to take a road trip each year too. That is either Troy or Alabama. I've seen Troy play at LSU, Florida, FSU, FAU, Ga Tech, and UAB. UAB is just across town, but still a road game.

We've seen Bama at Vandy, Florida, MSU, and I think a few other places.

Last year we skipped a CFB road game to go see the Raiders in ATL.

Other than that, I fire up the big HDTV and watch at home.

hands down for me.

This. It's kind of nice to be able to DVR any play you want to rewatch for any reason.
Plus I can scream and yell at my TV without anyone looking at me, like I lost my mind

It's best for everyone if I watch Aggie football games alone.

Same here for the big games. Even my dog goes to hide in another room.
My roommate at the time, said I was foaming at the mouth during 1/9.

Go...although it depends on the time of game and the opponent. I'm probably going to watch most of my teams games this year, though.

I would much rather be there live and watch the entire play develop vs. what you see on tv.

Not once did I ever have any trouble setting up the satellite at my tent. I would only watch the games that were on tv before our game. I never missed a home game while I was in school. I usually tried to make at least one or two away games a year. But I'd much rather watch those on TV. It was the cheaper way.

Any chance to experience game day. Nothing compares to tailgating all day, interacting with the other teams fans, and then going to the game.

Although I do enjoy a week off to lounge on the couch and watch college game day all day long and watch 10 games

Plus, you only get 6-7 chances a year to be at your alma mater basking in the sunshine watching those red helmets up close. I love that.

Exactly.

In football, I don't know how this is even a question.

Damn. You sound like an OM fan here. Which is why they can't fill 50% of their tiny stadium with OM fans on game day.

Oh look at that, the first mention of OM in a thread that has nothing to do with us was by a state fan. Shocking.

How many times a day do you use big bro as a point of reference?

Agreed. Especially when you rewatch it on the DVR during the week anyway to hear the announcers and get pissed at them for being homers for the other team
