Where would he rank all-time among SEC Coaches?

Would you consider one National Title at South Carolina more impressive than Saban's current stint at Alabama?

I have a better question. Would you consider Spurriers time at South Carolina better than his stint at Florida?

Considering I like Spurrier and dislike Saban, yes.

I of course would want to say no, but I would think so. He has made South Carolina a real threat. So, yes. Though LSU wasn't that great either before Saban got there.

Spurrier will never win a National Championship at South Carolina.

Duh, I guess so since that would give him two at two different schools. Saban only has four at two different schools. Nice job.

No. Because one title at S.Car. Isn't better than 3/4, and the run Saban is on isn't over

Not really. 3 out of 4 is incredible and only been done one other time in the modern era.

The Old Ball Sack has a good legacy going. A championship at USC would certainly vault him into the top 10.

Spurrier runs a clean program, so the answer is yes, and I'll drop it at that.

Regardless, right now Spurrier is in the Top 2 or 3 all time.

What he did at Florida was impressive and, in some ways more impressive than Bryant.

Saban is obviously in the conversation and you could argue that he is the best.

Spurrier dealt with more parity in CFB than Bear did and Saban has done it with even more parity (less schollies etc).

Spurrier is top notch.

And no, Meyer is not in the conversation. Take away Harvin and Tebow and he is shite.

Seeing as it hasn't proven that difficult for an SEC team to win a natty... No.
