I'm going with the Rebs. 31-21 with 7 coming from an Ash FUBAR.
I really think they will win.

We go in there 2-0 and I'll start to believe a little

To me it is a win - win
If the rebs win it is big for the conference
If the rebs do not win folks expect it

Considering the author of this thread is a Penn St. fan, no one should waste their time.

arguement, yet you have retroactively (justified or not that is a discussion to be had later) claimed 2 NC to give you a total of 3, however all of them are prior to 1939 and seem to fall into the "small military college" timeframe. Just curious on how you can say your team is good enough to win 3 NC however when you do not win then you start screaming about how it was not fair because almost everyone was off to war.
Because prior to WWII, almost every school had a Corps of Cadets. Even tu. After that, draft dodgers went to college as a way to avoid war. So the truth of the matter is before WWII, people weren't scared of defending their country, and A&M wasn't hurt by that fact. After it they were. Then we let women in, stopped making the Corps mandatory, and from 1975 onward we have a winning record against you. It is what it is. All things require context. It doesn't surprise me they don't teach that in Teasipping 101.

Serious question what time frame do you personally feel is an accurate representation of how the 2 programs stack up against one another?
1975 onward. Scholarship limitations finally took affect for all of college football.

Also do you know where to find the enrollment numbers because some of the things that I have read have peaked my interest in Aggies willingness to go into the military upon graduation (especially the story of the whole graduating class of I think 1944 enlisting)?
Google probably, maybe Bing.

Well, Ole Miss is pretty obviously cheating in recruiting (I don't even think they're trying to hide it at this point), so they got this next season to take advantage of their new talent before the NCAA cracks down on them.

I didn't think a 2-10 team from the year before losing to Texas was an embarrassment. Especially that early in the season.
My jimmies are rustled and I'm rolling up my sleeves.

There are regular losses and bad losses. If a repeat of last year happens, 66-31, then yes that is pretty damn embarrassing
That said, I think last year was due to mindsets. Ole Miss was "weak" and "terrible", and Texas was "a traditional power". And both teams played that way, like they both expected it to happen. I think Freeze has to change the team's mindset, and I think he will.

How so?

Haha I'm serious. Ole Miss won 8 games and suddenly they're flipping guys from bama? Recruiting a top 10 class? 4* guys from Michigan naming Ole Miss their #1 choice?
Surely I'm not the only one who sees that this is circular reasoning, right?

Not to mention those cocksmokers have never recruited well either until the last couple of classes. What a bunch of cheating fricks.
