A lot of potential with Black who was working his way into a starting position on the team before he was injured last year before the season started.
Bell should be a nice compliment WR to Amari
But you should know more than anyone a large majority of the talent at WR achieving has a lot to do with the success of the QB and that is why I say Bama's WRs will have a great year. AJ will be a large part of the reason for their success regardless of the experience (which our group of WRs have other than Black, Raheem Falkins, and the nations #1 WR last cycle who hasn't even made it on campus yet PA WR Robert Foster)

It is my feeling that LSU's WRs are just as good and will be just as productive as the tide's WRs.
Tigers T Durall was getting rave reviews in preseason camp last year. Injured and had to sit the season. This past spring he's worked his way to #3 passing up a couple of SRs on the way.
LSU brings in just as much new talent as bama, four 4* recruits.

No Amari Cooper
And we signed the nations #1 WR and a 3* guy out of New Orleans that apparently LSU didn't want

Bama is stacked at WR, just haven't seen LSU's WR's so honestly not sure but we shall see

I know catches aren't the only measuring stick but, it is a good place to start.
LSU WR position returns more catches than does bama. That's with the tide playing a 14 game schedule to LSU's 13 games.
Cooper is the best of either group no doubt. After him though tigers match up well to the rest of bama's and I think Landry and OBJ might be better than any of the others for the tide.
Tigers bringing in one of the best juco wide outs. One of the other signees was a basketball player that basically played one year of football and blew up. Came out of nowhere to be a 4* recruit. Patrick Peterson's lil brother is another 4* that was in for the spring. Long lean and a burner, can catch the ball as a bonus. The fourth 4* is Diarse, in for the spring as is just a physical speciman. He is the only one that isn't 6'2" or better. His old teammate is Hootie Jones, best of friends. They will be reunited in '14.

I think it all comes down for LSU to Cam Cameron and how he utilizes the passing game, how much he trusts Mett and how much Les trusts Cam to sling it
Talent is on the roster no doubt

No doubt. No doubt.
Did you hear what Cam and Les did with the QBs for the spring game??

That is correct, 3 more catches. Let's compare production of the returning WRs:
LSU: 1,876 yards, 11 TDs
Bama: 2,365 yards, 24 TDs

Allowed ALL their QBs to call their own plays during the game. Even the freshmen and walkons.
Rivers actually did quite well. He was 7-10 for 185 yards and two TDs.

I think we all saw that. I don't entirely understand why he did that since I feel it would be more relevant to have the guys get used to the tempo of the offense and do situational drills.

That's correct more catches for LSU, four receivers VS five and 13 games VS 14.
That breaks down to about 22-23 more yards per game for the tide. It seems like the BEST group of WRs in the country/SEC would have a bigger advantage over those WRs from LSU and it's wofully inept passing attack.
Also, that's a BIG gap between cooper and bama's #2 WR.
Headsup last november.
bama
cooper - 0 catches
bell - 0 catches
black - 0 catches
norwood - 5 catches 62 yards 0 TD
ch jones- 4 catches 40 yards 0 TD
LSU
landry - 8 catches 76 yards 1 TD
OBJ - 4 catches 73 yards 0 TD
boone - 3 catches 37 yards 0 TD
wright - 0 catches
LSU receivers accounted very well for themselves that night against that great bama "D".
Again. I am noway saying LSU's group of receivers is better than bama's. I just think they are right there with them.

LSU isnt going to do #$%^ with Bama in charge of the SECW... you might as well get used to playing in the freaking peach bowl every year for now on.... ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

There was nothing to see. How could you know who called the plays by watching the game? Even if you were there, which I doubt, there's noway to tell who's calling the plays.
Reasoning was Cam wanted to see how well his QBs were understanding the "O" and what plays each QB felt comfortable running.
