That is my fear at the moment.
Give me all of the reason I shouldn't lose hope and just end it all now?

Meh... can't be worse than you were this past year. And at least this year's offense will be - at the very least - fun to watch.

They aren't going to be too good this year, but if Malzhan keeps crootin' like he did this year y'all will be back to 8 wins sooner than later.

Also the offense can't possibly be as bad as it was last year. 6 or 7 wins is highly possible, but the West will be as tough as ever this year.

This is probably true. However, I don't think it can be much worse than last year so look at it that way. A lot of these players were recruited for Malzahn's offense, not for whatever the hell Chizik was doing last year, so I expect a little better performances even if the win loss record is similar.
Auburn football is pretty much going to be sucky to average while Saban is at Alabama (or until he gets too old to be effective anymore) so you probably need to just change your expectations to be able to enjoy Auburn football for the next several years.

You have that skeleton of a QB transfer. He's the second coming of Christ if you talk to your buddies around here.

I see 9 wins in Gus' first year. Pretty solid start, imho.

This holds true in life and in college football.... things are rarely as good or bad as they seem.
We'll be back to mediocre in no time, IMO.

If Trickett turns out to be half as good as the AU posters on this board would have you believe, you could win up to 6 games.
