Yeah, according to that program we hired Croom out of 'white guilt' because we're "the people's university", then we fired him later on cause basically..whitey gonna whitey.
It's a bunch of crook.
Truth is that style of play and coaching is outdated and even though we had some good defenses you have to have balance and an aggressive, high-powered offense if you wanna last in this league. Also we refused to lie, cheat, and steal...which just doesn't work in this conference

I'd say he was a class act but that could be misconstrued as derogatory and racist... He was a solid person and a committed disciplinarian... But he was not an SEC head coach.

Quite possibly the biggest load of bullshite ever produced by ESPN. Alabama fans love him because he was Baaars "boy". Apparently to ESPN their opinion was the only one that counts.

and to top it off, that letter that Croom read at the end of the show from the State alum. Just a last minute stab at our school. Screw Sly Croom, that whole show was a load of bs

It is depressing to think about how much further ahead we would be in football if we had hired Fisher instead of Croom.

I would have rather had Gary Patterson over Fisher. But any of those options over Croom would have been monumentally better for our program.
