Honestly, the East is looking like it might be better this season. The West has nothing after the top 3.

Its only hope at a rival is the SEC East.

West is the best, East is a close second. After that it's probably the Pac 12 - North. Tough to say??

Until Arkansas and Auburn quit the suck it's in doubt.

We've won a NC more recently than LSU, so...

You've also lost every conference game more recently than both LSU and the season in which you claimed a title.

We won woman's track in 2012 so that's recent enough

Did we just time warp back to 2007?

No doubt, the West is just stacked. Bama is clearly the strongest program in the country, LSU is a powerhouse, and A&M is the fastest rising team. Then you have Ole Miss which is clearly building a power with their recruiting and traditional powers that are rebuilding with Arkie and Aubie. State is the only one that appears to be stuck in neutral but they will still likely be a bowl team.
Georgia, USC, and UF are all strong Top 15 teams in the East. The next best though is probably Vandy right now. UT and Mizzou are floundering and UK is in Step 1 of a major rebuild.
Going outside the SEC it is like falling off a cliff in terms of a quality of division though. Agree the Pac North is probably next.

A&M doesn't think the West is so tough. 5-1 against the West right out of the box. Maybe you guys can try again to initiate them properly in 2013.

2013 ... both divisions pretty close
BAMA
UGA, UF, SCAR ( TIE)
TAMU
LSU
OM, VANDY(TIE)
AU, ARKY, MSU, TENN, MIZZ(TIE)
UK
so if it is the West it's because UK needs alot.
