The Elite Eight, such lofty goals you have there Mizzou.
As they say in goal setting seminars, a good goal is an attainable goal. Maybe Haith should just focus on getting that first round win eventually.

At this point Arkansas should just focus on trying to get into the tourney, when was the last time y'all were there?

2008. I'm not sure the Arky posters know.

I was incorrect. I originally typed 2004.

Arkansas may lose on the road to Missouri, but it has more to do with 'road' than 'Haith'.
Our young team simply has not learned to take their game on the road yet.
So far Anderson has bested Billy Donovan, John Calipari and Lon Krueger, all pretty fair coaches, and yes, all at home. So, I think he can hang with Haith.

Porker i don't understand why you have our baseball record as your sig, not a single mizzou fan would've claimed we were gonna be good this season in baseball.
We occupy way too much space in his head. I'm sure there's a medication for that.

Ya know, I'd almost care if we weren't rebuilding from a terrible sequence of years with little talent to build on. I'd be much much more disappointed in my new coach if he inherited one of the most talented teams in the country and fell on his face in the NCAAT to be honest.
Umm, AP National Coach of the Year Award and a finalist in the James Naismith National Coach of the Year award also. He beat out Calapari and Izzo in the AP Coaches award. I guess I have a hard time saying I'm disappointed in Haith when he sports some hardware like that. I'm more disappointed in the players last year in that game than anything to do with the coaching. Haith could have easily took the road Anderson did last year and just not coach the players he inherited only to wait for some of his own recruits to try and make a run the following year. But Haith did not. He adapted to the players he took over and did the best he could with what he had, unlike Anderson.

You know that was a joke right?? Dumbass...
If you can't take the heat...stay out of the kitchen!
BTW...if your t-shirt remark was a joke, another Arky poster was using final score board pic of our game for days.
How pathetic is that?

I'd love if instead of booing mike when he gets announced we just called the pigs one time and sat silently.

But Pro-ball is around the corner, and Missouri having two pro-ball teams on each side of the state, we'll be occupied with real baseball. But feel free to keep us up to date on how Mizzou baseball is doing if you want. As you seem to follow Mizzou baseball more closely than Mizzou fans do. I'm sure someone will listen....

Haven't read the entire thread, but all of the Arky posts I've read had to do with anything except the topic of the OP. This is the first I have seen and the most rational, though I might disagree with a few of his claims. One, I don't know if the road problems are related so much to youth as it's just tough on the road and Anderson just isn't very good at getting his teams ready to play on the road. Can Anderson hang with Haith? Sure. Why wouldn't he? He's not a horrible coach. I don't think much of him as a person because of the way he handled things leading up to his departure, but that's water under the bridge. Finally, losing to Mizzou on the road will have something to do with being on the road, something to do with Haith and probably something to do with the fact that Mizzou is just a better team...this year.

It is pathetic but frankly Mizzou being 0-6 is not as pathetic as Arky's 7-5 record given the expectations of both teams going into the year.

Are the Hogs the Cubs of college athletics? Their fans are pretty fervent. They come into each year with high hopes, with unrealistic expectations of how good they are. Then the bottom drops out.
I bet they're already talking about how they're looking forward to next year in basketball even though this year isn't even over yet. Have they started doing that with baseball yet or does that take a few more weeks to kick in?

Arky fans can't seem to agree on importance of that game. You do realize that bringing it up over and over again, speaks more to Mizzou dominance than your squeaky win at home.
