Mizzou fans, would Mizzou consider Big10?

1. If the Big10 extended an invite, would the administration make the move?
2. As a fan, which option would you prefer at this point?
I have always thought Mizzou is a much better fit in the Big10 than the SEC

Mizzou is at the greatest party in the land with a fast perfect 10 and you want to know if Mizzou would rather go bowling with a fat slow ugly drunk chick with a herpes on her lip? A lot of hot chicks are dumb as hell but we are here to have fun not discuss quantum physics.

Mizzou will be fine in the SEC, don't listen to the trolls.

Has to be the most over used bait out there. If you want any bites, you gotta come with new bait.
In answer, no, we wouldn't and no, as a whole we don't want to go anywhere.

Just for clarification, this is not a troll thread. It's my understanding that Mizzou approached the Big10 long before the SEC came calling. I assume that means the admins at that time preferred what the Big10 had to offer.
I just read a post on a big10 board about a rumor with Mizzou being in consideration again.... made me curious.
I'm sure there are at least a couple of Mizzou fans out there with some legit insight

I think the question isn't the right one; it's more would the B1G consider Mizzou?

Don't you think Mizzou is a better addition to the BIg10 than say GT, Rutgers, Maryland, etc..

No and No.
The Big 10 wanted Mizzou as a partial member like Nebraska for the first few years. Mizzou actually turned down the Big 10.

To question one, who knows? Maybe, maybe not. B1G had thier chance at us. I can't see Mizzou jumping. There may be some hard feelings that factor in a decission.
I prefer where we are now to anywhere else.
To your last comment. You could say the same for Kentucky, Vandy, Arkansas and possibly Tennessee.

Three of those are founding members of the SEC, so I'll disagree. Arkansas is debatable I guess, but I think they fit in Big12, SEC, Big10, in that order.
At this point Mizzou really has nothing vested in the SEC, no rivalries etc.. and only a year or two of time. So if they thought a better option was available, I would think they would take it.
ETA: I didn't realize Mizzou turned down Big10 the first time, I thought it was the opposite.

And I believe Missouri will be fine in our league, give it time.

I should rephrase. Mizzou backed out of talks with the Big 10 after finding out they would only be junior members.

Didn't some of the mizzou posters says the big 10 called when they looked to expand to 14 and mizzou said no? Also give it 10 years and Mizzou will feel just as sec as the original 10 (except to old fart purists). Until then (or until mizzou actually does something)lets haze the new guys.

As soon as the SEC Network stuff is announced all questions like this will go away. SEC teams are about to make stupid TV money. Our AD has hinted it will be massive.
