I can totally understand a cop busting someone for pot and shrooms if they're at the wheel, or if the suspect is charged with something else and they find drugs along the way. Hell, I can even understand busting someone for pot because they mouthed off, or had it in plain view.
I just don't understand how a police force decides to actively roll up and raid college students for pot. Like even setting aside the inherent insanity of drug laws and looking at it from a cost-benefit perspective, this has to be an incredibly inefficient use of resources.

You obviously photoshopped a shirt unless you have 4 fingers on to your douchey shirtless mirror pic and had the balls to put it has your avi on the rant.
All of which is fricking hilarious.

Without reading the entire thread, if it was a bust that big, it sounds like somebody snitched.

sounds like it was a narcotics task force... that's exactly what they do, arrest people for drugs. I agree that this looks like whole buncha 'low-hanging-fruit' and not big time distribution, but it's still upwards of 70 students getting busted for selling.

Its probably more cost efficient than you think. If the bail really averaged 35 grand I know a lot of those frat daddies' parents will pay that. Probably close to covering the expenses.

Task forces are usually multi-agency. With 70 getting tagged, the odds of getting a bigger fish goes up. Everyone tagged today, made a choice to risk the consequences if they got caught and decided getting high was worth it. They need to take the medicine now.
