I'd hardly call Dyer a bust. Just cause he is a dumbass, doesn't negate his production.

I still have a little hope for Owens, but Yes, that is a train wreck of a pic.

If you can't get it after two years, you're not getting it. I had high hopes for Owens, but his time is fading fast.

To be fair, pretty much all of our defensive players under Chizik didn't "get it"

Those were my first thoughts, exactly.
I saw the pic pop up somewhere a few days before Signing Day and completely forgot that he had been in the game.

I'm asking myself why isn't Lemonier in that photo, but his name is?

Just one thought...
How in the world did those scouting that year's talent think Jake Holland deserved to even be considered for this game?

So just to be clear...
Getting shot (Mack) and smoking a lot of weed and owning guns (Dyer) classifies you as a bust?
ETA: And Chizik totally screwed LO over the same way he did Bates. No reason for Bates to be moved to LB at 5'11, 200 pounds, and no reason for Owens to be converted to a DE at 6'2", 220 pounds. Owens is and always should've been a LB.

Not if he sucked at it, he's at least a serviceable end.

I have to agree with you AUTiger5. I would however put Dyer in a mixed bag. Football wise he was a HR, off field he was a bust and he may never see the field again. I think a lot of the issues stem from the type of staff we had and their obvious lack of discipline. Also, they struggled mightily on where a kid should play. They fricked with too many kids, especially considering they were terrible at developing players.

Maybe i'm off but i don't remember mack being all that great before getting shot. Wasn't he constnatly showing up overweight or just plain fat? Now that isn't to say that getting shot didn't end any chance he had but i figured he had been written off before that.
As for dyer, yea i'd say he's a bust. His career certainly didn't balloon out, bust might be a bit harsh but for the purposes of that picture i'll take it.

MVP of the Nattie is NOT a bust.

Failure to come back from arizona lead to him not living up the potential he had shown he possesses. I don't think calling him a bust is that far of a stretch.
