Dyer was a disappointment but not a bust. Broke freshman rushing record, 2x 1000 yd rusher, BCS MVP. How is that a bust?

[quote]Owens to be converted to a DE at 6'2", 220 pounds. Owens is and always should've been a LB.[/quote

The move to DE was Owens's idea. He has always been a DE, even in high school. The move to LB was what the coaches wanted, but he just couldn't pick up playing in space. He requested the move back to DE.

I don't think Dyer was a bust, but he could have been the best RB to play at Auburn.. or at least in the Brown,Cadillac,Bo conversation.

Getting shot (Mack)

Mack was a bust before he got shot. He could not Sullen or even Slade. Straight bust.

Maybe Dyer was not a bust. But im still butthurt over losing him.

and no reason for Owens to be converted to a DE at 6'2", 220 pounds. Owens is and always should've been a LB

Owens had trouble with the transition to LB. He player DE in HS for 4 years. We did not have the coaching to convert him. Hate to say it, but he should have gone to Bama.

Not if he sucked at it, he's at least a serviceable end.

Getting evaluated and moved somewhere by our previous staff doesn't say a whole lot. It's one of the worst staffs we had at evaluating and developing players. Nobody knows how LO would've been at LB. I won't be surprised if our current staff moves him back to LB.

Chizik moving Daren Bates to LB tells you all you need to know about his player evaluation.

Good to know.

Whenever a RFR doesn't start, he is an automatic bust

Slade was a RfR last year also. He started over Mack. Mack was a lazy bust.

And AJ Greene started over Brandon Mosley in 2010. Who was the better player?

Well played sir. I forgot that Jeff Grime had senioritis.

How many different starting line-ups due to non-injury did we have? Seemed like it changed every dang week. But Mack never got into the rotation.

Mack also came in way over weight, IIRC... he ended up getting his weight down, but USCe fans were questioning his work ethic when he decommitted (which at the time sounded like sour grapes, but was probably more the truth).
