Has state ever even put a qb in the NFL at any capacity?
I mean after Eli, at least former ole miss qb Michael Spurlock is returning kicks in the NFL.
I don't think state has or ever had a qb to play in the NFL at any position.

Kincade has lots of potential. Nice frame with more room to grown, tremendous arm with accuracy and mobile. Seems like all the tools Freeze wants in his system. Also, coming from a school like Skyline in the Dallas area....He wasn't playing against scrubs...

I think he's going to have to hit the weights pretty hard to get his arm strength up. Just watching his film and highlights from the Elite 11 camp, it looks like he has to put every ounce of his 180 lb frame into the deep balls. A year in the weight room will do him wonders. All signs point to him having the work ethic to get where he needs to be. I like that Buchanan made that comment on twitter about him being a QB of this class as well. Really looking forward to this matchup.

But yea, he definitely needs to hit the weight room and looks like he has been over the last few months. When I said tremendous arm, I meant his accuracy for the most part but can throw a nice deep ball also. Another key part of his game is his decision making and reads...at the high school level you can't ask for anything else.

What has yours done since integration? I know MSU hasn't done shite either, but you don't see MSU posters acting like State is near-tier with any other school in the SEC West besides Ole Miss

Buchanan has some catching up to do in this area. Kincade already running the HNH will serve him well. His reads on some of the read-option plays I've watched are pretty damn impressive.

Ya, while I too believe DK is our future, it will be nice to have that solid backup in Buchanan and I think he will see some time back there too. I saw someone mention Miller and I agree, we can't count him out either. He has one of the more impressive arms out of them, strength wise.

Speaking of mirrors, yalls season this year looks alot like our last 9 win season. After that yall clearly had the momentum and we struggled. However, things are trending back for us and yall are heading down. Its easy to see man. To start 7-0 with all of the we believe stuff and then fall on your face speaks volumes. Your pompous head coach and propaganda led to your best friends in the media turning on you. From a natl perspective you will never be spoken of again anytime soon.
