Recent Alabama vs Auburn recruiting battles

With foster flipping/committing to bama, I was wondering, what is the recent (Saban era) track record between the 2 schools in landing top recruits. Specifically I am talking about recruits that are down to Aub/bama as their only choices left.
TIA

Haven't gone head to head on as many recruits as one might think, but I think we have only gotten 2. One has been a huge bust and the other got cancer. Bama has owned the head to head battles.

Impossible to tell, because every time a commit is about to pull the trigger for auburn, "we didn't have room for him"...and every time a commit is about to go to Bama, they "cooled on him".
Remarkable coincidence.

If you are talking the top instate recruits (like top 5 each year), Saban (bama boosters) has/have been kicking our arse.
It has been more even with guys rated 6-12 instate, but as far as the 1-5 instate guys that have been down to AU or Bama, Shon Coleman is the only one I can think of that AU got.

I think I read a tweet earlier that said Alabama is poised to grab the top five in-state recruits.

Not from Alabama. He's from Olive Branch

Jesus you're paranoid. Obviously auburn is much better off as a football program, bama boosters would be the only reason a recruit would choose them over the powerhouse in lee county

Who are you talking about?
Sanders and Owens?
Owens hasnt played enough to pass judgement and Sanders was an excellent ST player but is too small to play DE.

Maybe bust was used prematurely, but neither has played as well as was expected coming out of hs. Maybe that is the fault of the coaches and not the players. Also, I guess that adds one more, because I was referring to Coleman as one.

CK's recruitment was pretty entertaining.

CK was from out of state. Not sure how Auburn got in on that one.

Michael mcNeil from Mobile was definitely a top prospect. I'm not sure what happened but I know he went to Auburn.

Wasn't Mcneil one of the armed burglers/robbers? Plus you got Jake Holland.

Since the 2008 class Bama offered, tried for, and lost to AU:
J. Rose
C. Sanders
L. Owens
M. McNeil
T. Coleman
Jawara White is a tougher call, because Bama slow played him
