I was bored and inspired by the "SEC Office" thread. The geographic center is near Brilliant, AL (34.10, -87.67). Also, the geographic center without A&M or Mizzou is near Oneonta, AL (33.99,-86.56)

That settles it. SEC offices should be in New Orleans

Oneonta's ok. Got the Palisades and plenty of open space.

It's you're standard "middle of nowhere" town.
And it's really not even good at that

Horse Pens 40 is a pretty place and is just up the road...so there's that.
And meth. Don't forget the meth.

Dry County. You have to go to Springville or Clay just to get on the interstate. Oneonta sucks.

It has Charlie B's Restaurant. That place is THE shite. Damn good eating.

Meh, they have the Locust Fork nearby along with some world class bouldering. I've seen worse.

Had to go to a wedding there a few years back. We checked into what I think was the only hotel in town, they knew we were there for the wedding, because its the only reason someone would come to town.
We later found out it was a dry wedding, then proceeded to not spend the night and drove back home.
