If the SEC does expand, it appears it will be in the east...

Teams mentioned have been VT, UNC, Duke, and NC State (all east teams obviously) So what team moves to the west? Mizzou seems obvious. But does another make more sense?
Or does everyone think we go to some weird 4 team pod set up?

4 team pod set up

If we add two east teams, you'd only need to move one team to the west to make a 16 team league with two 8 team divisions.
Math.
Math.

I want VT for personal reasons.

Will be Virginia Tech and either UNC or NC State...
ALOT of sentiment in Chapel Hill that they want to go to the SEC if the ACC becomes no longer viable...

Whatever gives Bama the easiest schedule year in and year out. Given the current state of the West, I bet we see a pod with Bama/Auburn/Missouri/Miss State

Can you kick us out and replace us with someone else? Thanks in advance.

If you did 4 four teams pods, you'd have to split these eight teams up so that each division had two of them:
Bama
LSU
A&M
USC
Florida
Georgia
Auburn
Tennessee
Then split Ole Miss, MSU, Arkansas, Kentucky, Vandy, Mizzu and the new guys among the rest, also two to each.

I say SEC adds UNC, Virginia Tech, swaps Mizzou for Louisville. We're going NAIA bitches

8x2: Missouri to the west, UNC and Duke added to the east.
4x4:
LSU/A&M/Arky/Mizz
OM/MSU/AU/Bama
UF/UGA/UNC/Duke
UT/Vandy/UK/USC

UF/UGA/UNC/Duke

More on 8x2. If the conference goes to 8x2, there will be one permanent opponent apiece. I think these would be the pairings....
Alabama and Tennessee
Arkansas and South Carolina
Auburn and Georgia
Duke and Missouri
Florida and LSU
Kentucky and Mississippi State
Ole Miss and Vanderbilt
North Carolina and Texas A&M

The "pod" thing isn't happening, I wish people would drop it.

If the SEC expands it will be either VA/VA Tech and NC State.

If only two teams come in then only Mizzou will move. If four teams come in who knows what they will do.

I hope for this. I think this would help the MS schools.
