OL - Wanna see how the guys fill in for the three departed guys. As they go, so goes the Tide's fortunes.

Safeties- Landon Collins and HaHa Clinton-Dix

I would feel the same way about the OL but after seeing what Stoutland has done , that's the least of my worries. I had the same question marks in 2011 and he made me never question him.

OL is about the only thing worth mentioning

Defensive line. If we get Prevot and Hall like it sounds like we will, we have five national top-250 guys coming in on the line, three of which have the potential to start.

I was very excited about our WRs, then Sanders declared. But still have excitement for the position: returning Ellington who put up as many stats as Sanders did as a receiver, and technically he'll be a Jr.
Also Byrd had a minor break-out season as a big-play receiver for us in 2012: he had essentially the same yds Sanders did in 2011, with fewer receptions. But perhaps I'm also excited about the prospects of Roland, Fuller, and Smith who were all highly rated out of HS. Roland had limited opportunities this past season, and the others were red-shirted, so even with Sanders' departure we'll still be pretty deep at the position for 2013...
Next would be the RB position. This will be the first year After Lattimore, but we've essentially played a full seasons-worth of games without Lattimore over the past 2 seasons and have gone 10-1 in them.
This past season was horrific in terms of injuries to the position, but we'll have great depth at the position for 2013: Wilds returns, and we'll also have Davis, Carson, and Salley. Incoming RBs Williams and Smith, who are both very talented, will add to the depth...

D-line
Hopefully teams next season won't throw the ball.

Most excited about? I hear we have a new guy that runs out to retrieve the tee after kickoffs. Unfortunately, he only sees the field once a game or we'd dominate the SEC.
On a more serious note, not saying it's the strength of the team, but I'm most excited to see how the O line develops this year. Lots of injuries led to lots of guys getting playing time that wouldn't have otherwise seen as much of the field, including a pretty good true freshman. Excited to see how they develop next year.

Center: Who can snap the ball 5 yards without skipping it on the ground or flinging it over the QB's head.
QB: Who can not suck like Jenna Jameson.

DL and RB. Lots of young talent there.

That NEW and exciting "D" is what I want to see. If I had to pick just one position group though it would have to be the LBs. This will possibly be the BEST group (1-6) ever at LSU.

OLine ... we're going to be loaded, talented and deep for the first time I can remember since maybe the mid 70s.
I gotta give Shawn Elliot major props. The guy came-in and completely revamped out OLine not only by how they approach it with the zone read thing, but he has recruited lights out. He's doing it again this year as well.

QB- We have the best QB combo in the SEC. Hell, our backup beat 2 ranked teams.
