I was doing a few honey do's when the game started and was listening to the Rebel broadcast. It was like 7-0 or maybe worse and Hugh Kellum said something like "it looks like Mizzou has never played in the dark." The lighting in the Sad Pad is awful and probably takes a little getting used to. I watched when I got home and Mizzou couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. They banked a 3 in and I saw at least 2 other 3's bank off the back board. So they either suck or maybe the bad lighting had an effect. Then in the 2nd half they had to deal with the other lovely Sad Pad issue of the condensation on the floor. How many more years is it before the new arena opens Rebs?

Not sure when it opens. Two years? So are you implying that OM isn't any good and the only reason they can win a home game is due to the condition of the tad pad? If so, terrific grind and spin. That's exactly what it's sounding like...

No. Not at all. What I'm saying is the Rebs SHOULD win this season. The two 30 year olds are Holloway and Buckner that bring experience and leadership. Summers is a good point guard, not great but better than most in league. Henderson is the key though. He is gonna shoot y'all out of a few games if he hasn't already. But he's also going to shoot u in to some as well. I also wouldn't doubt if he gets punched by somebody before the year is done. The Rebs should finish in the top 3 in the league and make the NCAA for the fist time under Kennedy. BUT if they don't make it, he should be fired.

Kill is a little extreme, but watching the bama game I never felt like that game wasn't going our way. bad loss at old miss but it's a long season.

There is most certainly a long way to go and things can be very different by the end of February, but nothing thus far supports OP's contention that you've got a championship team.
