Winning the SEC West requires a favorable schedule...

Not exactly an Earth shattering revelation, but decided to look at the numbers and they definitely confirm this "theory". Only twice in the past 10 years (2003 & 2004) has the West champ had a more difficult schedule than the West runner-up. This is why people are making a stink about Alabama's favorable "bridge" schedules as well as the permanent opponent malarkey.
Historically/statistically speaking, at this point it appears that the SEC has already gift wrapped the division title for them.

That's good to hear. I thought we might have to fight for it next year.
If you can convince A&M to give up as well, we can go ahead and focus on the SECC game.
Thanks!

So you are saying Bama again next year?

Valid point. I imagine this thread will go well.

We have Vanderbilt and Missouri. That's almost better than Tennessee and Kentucky. Here's why:
Vanderbilt is a good team. However, Missouri is probably worse next year than either Tennessee or Kentucky, which makes up for it.

And it requires that you name start with an Al or an LS.

This little "Dynasty" Alabama has going would be so much different if they'd actually played any real teams in the regular season from the East in 2011 and 2012.
No South Carolina, Georgia, or Florida either year. They don't have any of them next year either; so, that's 3 years straight without a single legitimate opponent from the East.
We all saw what happened in 2010 when they actually played a tougher schedule.

Tamu or alabama will win the west next year. Its a foregone conclusion really.

It would also be a lot tougher if our cross-state rivals had a pulse. But you can't have everything.

And holding on every play. Amirite?

A&M is the only team in this conference with the chest to beat Bama, and we play them every year. Comments from shitty teams like LSU and AU not needed imo

Are you sure about that?

Yup, and that's not to take away anything from those teams or their fans. But honestly it's like they already have one or two game lead over the rest of the division. Ole Miss has a pretty favorable one as well, but I still think they are a year or so away from real contention.

Voice your anger and frustration with the LSU Administration and ask them to relentlessly badger the SEC/Slive like their fans do on these message boards.

Some of us had to play the #1 team in the country for our bowl game, and some had to play an also ran from the ACC.
Had that work out for you?

Whoops, sorry meant to put an asterisks by 2010 to account for Cam-Gate which really was the anomaly here.
