Lots of Staff Turnover in Starkville

Over the last six months, Mississippi State has fired it's WR coach for off-field issues, hired his replacement (former Minn coach Brewster), had DB coach leave for another SEC school (obviously told to look around), fired it's OC, and had it's DC take a demotion at another SEC school (obviously told to look around).
How do State fans view the staff changes?... can Mullen hire solid replacements (Brewster suggests he can)?... will it negatively affect recruiting this year? Are there current assistant coaches that you guys feel good about (knox, collins, etc)?

Mullen's a good man, the game has simply passed him by.

Hasn't been fired YET. Keep that in mind. The DC was demoted to DL the day before So he didn't actually take a demotion. The LB's coach who called the plays in the Gator Bowl was promoted. Defense played much better than score indicates.
As for the changes so far. I think Mullen has the capability to hire good guys. I'm liking Collins to DC. He's young and innovative. Not hearing much about the DB opening minus Fred Smoot's name popping up here and there.
As for the DL a few names like David Turner, Tim Cross, and a few former players coaching at JUCO's are being thrown around.

Going from MSU to UGA (and Starkville to Athens) is never a demotion.

See the sentence about State's secondary coach being told to look around before landing at Auburn, too.

clearly from a place to live standpoint.... but technically, Wilson took a demotion in title.

This is false. He was demoted to DL coach the day prior. He lost his DC job to LB coach Geoff Collins.

Freeze is in Mullen's head.
It's pretty obvious.

I've noticed a turnover here on the rant as well. I rarely see the usual Mullen nut grinders on here looking foolish.

Turnover in Aggieland too.
Our OC is now TTU's HC
Our ST/TE coach is now Nevada's HC
Maybe more to come. Sumlin has put together a hell of a staff.

That's the kind of turnover you want. Not switching them because they're horrible coaches.
