Consider the source- you want find many LSU fans who support that idea

I've seen LSU posters discuss this, but I never thought I would see an article published on this subject. That Chicken Bowl snub was more serious than I thought.

Yes, I have been monitoring that, as well. Lots of serious talk about ragequitting the SEC.

It's just yakkity yak. LSU isn't going anywhere. There's some fans/supporters that are genuinely upset about the way Cotton Bowl bid was handled by Slive.

It's not so much the Chick-fil-a bowl but the perceived influence of Slive on the process. LSU is ranked higher plus beat A&M but didn't get that bid. Obviously having the Heisman winner was the key and the Cotton Bowl made best invite for their Bowl's interest. I think a few are upset that Slive was thought to be using his influence to get A&M the invite, which was taken as a big FU to LSU.
That's my take on it anyways.

You mean here? What you said is pretty much false. Probably not a concern though.

If we left the sec that would be beyond stupid.

But after years of mounting frustration in the SEC, perhaps a fresh start would be best for LSU under the right circumstances.
The only worse idea I can think of is to go independent. Either would gut the University Sports programs of any identity.

Well seeing how LSU has been Bama's only tough game for the last two years and is Bama's only good win this year, Bama shouldn't be taring down LSU.

Rabalais is bored and an idiot. The schedules are unfair at this time and their is no bias. Life is not fair and if you don't like then go play in traffic. The schedules will come around.
