IMO, adding more games to these kids' schedules is stupid, and the logistics of having more playoff games is just too much for CFB. How many games can schools afford, and how many will the fans support? If the Buckeyes were to win their CCG and then have three, or even four, more games to win a NC, how many fans are going to run around the country to attend all of those games? If you really want a system like the NFL, then watch the NFL. I just like things like they are. The controversy does nothing but fuel the fires of passion for CFB.

I get a kick out of the constant whining for a playoff system. This 4-team playoff is only going to open the door for more teams to cry about not being selected. Then, an eight-team playoff will open the door for even more crybabies. Personally, I have no problem with the current system. Is it perfect? No. But, will a playoff system that has a committee that SELECTS the teams be perfect? Hell NO!

AMEN! Actually, it could be a decent game if they gave Northwestern a better team to play. State has failed to have a decent win all season. Their record is a result of playing HS teams for the first half of the season. Northwestern wins by 10.
