Who will win a SEC title first? A&M, Arky, or South Carolina?

My money is on A&M. I think if SC can't win one this year, it'll be a few years before they contend again. Maybe. I admit I don't follow recruiting much, so I'm not sure how we set up for the next few years.

Just looking for opinions. :offseason:

Here's an opinion start following recruiting; then there will be no need for you to ask stupid questions.

I think Coach B's offensive genius tips the scales the Hawgs' way.

I don't see USCe ever winning a SEC Title. Spurrier can't do it, and he won't be around much longer. It's only a matter of time before USC is back to being shite.

ATM is smoke in mirrors with a coach that runs up the score on shitty teams and will be exposed when they actually have a tough SEC schedule (playing the top teams back to back to back) and he has to recruit his own players. He was gifted one of the best offensive lines in the Nation and only time will tell if he understands that he needs to keep those talented trench players coming in to be successful.

Arkansas will be back fighting for the west in the next few years. Lock down on the instate talent and Texas being right next door and a coach that understands linemen win football games gives Arky the nod in my book.

Texas A&M with a doubt. I agree SCAR better get one next year or they are in trouble. They are not recruiting to the level of the rest of the SEC. Texas A&M on the other hand is in a hot bed of talent and they are bringing in some major talent. Just go look at the 4 major services. Their biggest obstacle is Alabama and LSU every year. Can they dethrone the big 2 out West?

South Carolina? Maybe, it's 2013 or bust......for the foreseeable future

Arkansas? No, just no

The SEC 3 step:

Missouri before Arkansas
USCe before Missouri
Texas A&M before USCe

Do. That. Math.

The East is the weeker of the two divisions so I say SC wins one before Arky or A&M. I don't see either of them beating LSU and Bama in the same year.

I think USCe can get it done next year. The schedule sets up nicely for them and Spurrier is still a genius so I expect him to put together an amazing gameplan vs the West winner. However, if he doesn't get it done next year I'd put A&M up there.

I'm biased but think A&M is the obvious choice. Tons of talent returning plus ridiculous recruiting classes to go with a Heisman winner who will only be a Sophomore and a HC that takes no prisoners. Maybe we win next year or maybe we don't but A&M is setting up to be in the conversation every year.

USC has the next best shot but they have a tough road. UGA and UF seem to only be getting stronger while USC seems to be staying the same. Very good talent and Spurrier is a great coach but if I had to pick a team to win the East next year USC would be my 3rd choice. Future recruiting is good but not crazy great like it needs to be.

Mizzou and Arkie may compete some day but they both are a long ways off right now. Need a ton of talent to get in the conversation.

A & M if they can maintain what they did. Unfortunately USCe is playing at their best, but going up against the likes of Bama and LSU from the West. USCe will be going on a downward trend in the next two to three years. Arky will always be on the outside looking in.

Since Bama won the SEC and we beat them, we're already claiming it for this year, so this question is invalid.

It has to be A&M. USCe is close and may win one in the future, but A&M is the obvious choice. Arky and SEC title should never be mentioned in the same sentence.

South Carolina: Nope. Spurrier will be gone before the rest of the SEC is down enough for it to happen.
Arkansas: Nope. SEC West. Sorry.
A&M: They had better do it this coming season.
