For those of you not familiar with the annual Mizzou ~ Illinois braggin' rights series check out the game this Saturday. It's a taste of March madness in December.

Why would somebody from the South care about a regular season basketball game between teams from Illinois and Missouri?

You're correct, my bad! I forgot the SEC was a one sport conference.

I enjoy good basketball. Big 10 basketball bores me to death. And the whole "SEC pride" thing doesn't really apply to Mizzou. Yall don't exactly fit in and certainly haven't earned it yet.

You shouldn't. I certainly didn't care when VCU stomped a mud hole in Alabama. Nor did I care when MTSU beat Ole Miss. You don't have to watch. And when we play y'all you won't want to watch.
