The funny thing about this is it always gets brought up whenever Aggies respond when people make incorrect statements about the schools. There is a false perception by many that Texas is "big brother", yet A&M is older, larger, and more politically powerful than Texas. Both are Flagship Universities that are elite amongst large public schools in the US. Texas just ran up a ton of wins on us for a period after WWII when we were still primarily an all male military college slowly changing to what we are today and they had a better decade in the '00s than we had by quite a bit because we hired Fran. The head to head is even over the last 35 years between the schools. Texas has 9 conference titles since '75 and we have 8 but one of those "titles" for Texas is from '94 when we were undefeated and on probation while they lost 3 conference games and got destroyed by us at DKR.
So yes it annoys the hell out of Aggies when people falsely throw out that we are "little brother" when in reality we are at a minimum equals and could make a very valid claim as the "big" school. We certainly showed them who had more power in the re-alignment stuff when they did absolutely everything they could to stop us, including using their political connections and getting Baylor to help and we slapped them away like a fly.

Hey, imbecile. A Texas fan came to 1. an SEC site to show 2. an Aggie video.
Go take a logic course at that third tier school you attend.

I think it's great for college kids to have fun. Enjoy it while you can.

Nice deflection, but Texas or OU have signed the top offensive or defensive recruit in the state of Texas for the majority of the last 10 years. Texas even got Johnathan Gray last year.

I think we all know who the actual offensive player of the year was by Parade that year. Hint: He won a fairly significant award a week ago.

And who got the best offensive and defensive players from the state the 10 years prior to now?
But how does this affect what's happening now?
Does it make it less real? Help me, here.

Recruits don't give a shite about ancient history.
Who runs the state as of right now? If you don't answer Texas A&M, you're a poor deluded schmuck living both in the past and denial
I have been saying this since '10. You put aTm in the SEC, with that Texas recruiting base, and you have created a monster. Why would a recruit listen to Mack say " come to Austin, we will play in Lubbock, Waco, Stillwater" etc, when Sumlin will say "come to College Station and we will go play in Tiger Stadium, Bryant Denny (shithole that it is) The Swamp, Between the hedges, etc.etc.
