Who would'uh won this year if they had gone head-to-head?
At South Carolina?
At A&M?
The easy comparisons are not worth a frick for doing this, but I'll do the easy stuff for you in advance.
Both teams are 10-2
Both teams beat their division champion. Carolina at home over Georgia 35-7 and A&M on the road over Bama. Georgia scored a last minute junk TD to get on the board against Carolina.
A&M has JFF.
Carolina has Clowney and his buddies on D.
A&M lost to LSU at home, 24-9.
Carolina lost to LSU in Baton Rouge at night, 23-21.
A&M lost to Florida at The Swamp, early season day game, 20-17.
Carolina lost to Florida in the debacle night game at The Swamp the following week after the LSU game, 44-11. FAWKKK! Held Florida's O to one of their lowest output nights this season, but the turnovers and the flu bug killed them.
A&M beat Arkansas early in the season at Kyle Field 58-10
Carolina beat Arkansas late in the season at Williams-Brice 38-20 sans Lattimore.
Carolina beat Mizzou early in Williams-Brice, 31-10 with a last minute junk TD for Mizzou.
A&M finished their regular season by beating Mizzou at Kyle Field 59-29.
South Carolina has an eleven game home winning streak in play that will carry over into next season.
A&M lost two games at home this season, to Florida and LSU. SC lost the same two games to the same two teams, but both on the road, at night, on ESPN Prime Time.
That's all the common denominators I can think of.
Who wins on what field?
At South Carolina?
At A&M?

A & M on both fields this year in my opinion. Assuming its at the end of the season. Early in the season they split.

So now it's "the flu bug" too?

Carolina wins at Williams-Brice, A&M at Kyle Field.
We're a very, very good team at home as evidenced by the UGA win. However, when we get on the road we just seem to shite all over ourselves (late INT at LSU, turnovers at UF).

Sucks we're not playing A&M next season to find out. There is a good chance Clowney will leave after next year so we'll probably never get the JFF vs Clowney matchup.

It was pretty well known - we just never used it as an excuse or made a big deal out of it. Doesn't matter now, but it was well known heading into the game.
That's really not the point. Gators curbstomped us, no doubt about it.

Lattimore was a huge piece of the puzzle. I say it depends on when the game was played. Early season, prob South Carolina. Late season, I have to go with A&M.

South Carolina won every game after the loss of Lattimore, this year and last year, including this year's beat down of #10 Clemson at their place. (Edited, forgot about the loss to Arkansas last year.)
Who has the better offense? I'm just asking - not sure myself. A&M or Clemson?

A&M offense > Clemson offense
We played way tougher defenses.

I dunno about that, you both played us, you both played Florida, and Georgia D is probably equal or better than Alabama's.
A&M O is more efficient though.

If everyone's healthy, we split.

Would definitely be a great game!!
If only we could trade OU for USC in the Cotton.

A&M's losses were close, whereas SC got absolutely crushed by UF.

youd probably win if we played earlier this year. wed probably win if we played later

Because of 4 (well placed hits on the ball that caused) fumbles. And we never gave up 40 something points to LA Tech. Held Georgia's mighty offense to basically zero, and their mighty defense held us to 35.
Also the two weeks prior to Florida, we had an emotional high win over Georgia, and the following week a heartbreaking loss to LSU.
It wasn't the flu.
