I don't know that the OP posted it trying to make it a wedge issue. You're right that this behavior probably happens at other schools. The difference is that Notre Dame and its admirers gush about how much integrity they have and how they represent everything right in college athletics unlike all those SEC cretins who represent everything wrong with college athletics. Let this story happen on any SEC campus and the righteous indignation from media members all over the country would be out of control.
