but, but, manti teo is a really great person. I mean what a great leader. his integrity really played a big role in the pitt kicker missing a 33 yard field goal. plus his girlfriend died. what a leader. Intangibles.

I'm very frightened that this is an epidemic. That it exists many more places.

I would't be in a hurry to throw stones.

And that's not a defense of Notre Dame. Rather a condemnation of the culture.

They´re just too stupid to cover it up.

In Alabama, I believe that´s termed =exhuberant extracurricular activity=.

Are you saying that because there was a false accusation of rape at Duke that there is some analogy to the situation detailed in this thread?

It wasn't just one. There were several players in two different cases.

This post all the way. It's really stupid to make this your wedge issue for pulling for one college team over another. This is a far more widespread culture than one example is ever going to suffice to explain.

Dude, their Catholics!!

The Catholic cult has been covering shite like this up for centuries, this is nothing new.

Rape of someone of legal age wasn't even a blip on the radar for the catholics, their specialty is covering for pedophile.

I don't know that the OP posted it trying to make it a wedge issue. You're right that this behavior probably happens at other schools. The difference is that Notre Dame and its admirers gush about how much integrity they have and how they represent everything right in college athletics unlike all those SEC cretins who represent everything wrong with college athletics. Let this story happen on any SEC campus and the righteous indignation from media members all over the country would be out of control.

This sums it up completely. Been this way forever and ever with ND.
