I dislike the gumps as much as anybody but hate to see a man's life effectively ruined over this. It's a damn shame. A stiff fine and some community service would have been plenty to go along with the public embarrassment

Sex crimes are not looked at as jokes routinely. While the drunk moron may have intended "no harm", thats not what he did.

Lousiana (specifically NOLA) is hypocritical, they market themselves as a party city, makes millions off drinking and debauchery yet when an Alabama football fan pulls a sophomoric prank at the expense of a fan of the home state football team then by God lets throw the book at him.
