Goat-World Music

Any list without that album is incomplete. If you are a fan of the genre, then you should check it out.

keep music evil
Goat-World Music
UFO Club- Self Titled
Huge win for the Rebels today. Got to give credit where credit is due. They are a much improved football team.

I thought the MSU-Bama line was going to be -17.5 or so. I the fact that it is -24 makes me assume that Vegas is begging people to bet on Mississippi State. I'd suggest staying away from this one.

With that being said, Go State.

Yea Im not understanding the delay. A&M and MSU is the only interesting matchup of those games. If they put Mizzou on CBS just so they can get romped again, I will be pissed.

UGA and OM is a decent game, but not worthy of CBS this year. A&M and MSU likely decided who goes to the Cotton Bowl.

I think they are delaying it because they can. For example, what if:

UGA beats Florida
Ole Miss beats Arkansas
TAMU loses to Auburn

If that scenario were to play out, then the TAMU/MSU matchup loses some interest. In the same sense, UGA controls their own destiny against an OM team that has won 2 straight SEC games (assuming the above scenario played out).

Keep in mind, the above scenario is a "what if." I would be shocked if Auburn wins this weekend. My point is simply why not delay the announcement if you have the right (from a CBS perspective)?

For the record, UGA and Florida are both on CBS this week. Florida was also on CBS last week. I doubt that has any impact, but it falls in line with the discussion.

Kind of an important one to leave out don't you think?

Kind of a stupid response considering the original poster had it right....dont you think?
I forgot Bulldog Bash was that weekend. That will make for an awesome atmosphere in the Cotton District.

It also means the game is all but guaranteed to begin at 11. It seems we always play a morning game following BB.
Collegeview Street > Child Development center

It is an easy walk to the stadium and it is free. If you get there 2-3 hours prior to kickoff, you can find a spot.

It is also on the outskirts of campus and you can easily get out after the ballgame. You have immediate access to old 182 and hwy 12 and can be off campus immediately. It is also convenient for those wanting to walk around to Cotton District bars prior to kickoff.

All hope is lost

UGA/OM
UF/Missouri
MSU/TAMU

Two of the 3 will be at 11, and the other will be at 2:30. As long as TAMU beats Auburn this weekend, I think we have a chance to be in the 2:30 spot.

CBS may opt to go with the winner of the UGA/UF game. I think our game will be the most competitive of that group though. And you will have a 7-1 v 6-2 matchup.

Wrong. Best music spot in town. It is a hole in the wall and my favorite local bar. It is not a good place to go watch football though. If you're looking for TVs, do not go to Daves.

Food:

Restaurant Tyler
The Veranda
Harveys
Anthony's (West Point)

Simple food/burgers/bbq:

Mugshots
Brian Michaels
Pettys
Lil Dooeys
Daves
Old Venice

Bars:

Daves (best for music/pizza)
Bin 612- Best afternoon bar and in the Cotton District)
Halfway House- Best beer selection and several TVs
Zorbas- above Restaurant Tyler

Coffee: Make sure to try some strangebrew blueberry cobbler coffee. It is awesome.

Tailgating:

Set up a tent on the outskirts of the junction. If you need a tailgating spot rec, let me know. I hope the game is not at 11 am. The early morning kickoffs kill gameday atmospheres everywhere.

If you need free parking advice, let me know. Enjoy your trip.

Big game on a national level:

2000

UF
Auburn (both teams played in the 2000 SECCG)

Big game from a Mississppi State program perspective under Dan Mullen:

@UF
UGA
Michigan
Ole Miss- Mullen's first year
AJ McCarron has yet to throw an interception. For us to have a chance to be in the ballgame, our defense is going to have to force a few.
You've spent your entire morning searching for an obscure college football rating website that uses a "different metric rating system" to accumulate a measure of college football rankings?

And yet, we are still better than you.

You should give him at least two more years.
