"Big, physical guys up front, the powerful ball they're trying to run, it's football the way it's supposed to be played," Square said Tuesday. "Tight end, pro-style formation, running iso, that's the way the game's supposed to be played.

"They run it, and they run it well."

quote:

"Playing as a true freshman in the SEC, two guys, that's enough said right there," Square said. "At the University of the Georgia, I know they got some big-time guys there. For those guys to come in and play early and often, that makes them great."

quote:

"We understand those guys are going to come play the best game they've played all year," Square said. "We're trying to play the best game we've played all year. It's the University of Georgia. They've been playing big-time football.

"I don't understand how you could come and play a team like this lightly."

I'm starting to get pumped up for the game. Week is half done, just 3 more days for a chance at the biggest prize of all.

I'm tired of hearing stuff like this. How is running an up tempo spread/whatever type of offense less legitimate than a pro style offense?

I remember Alabama running several 3 wide, 1 TE, 1 back sets out of the shotgun most of the season.

That's the dumbest shite I've ever heard. If it is within the rules, then it is football. If it was how it was "supposed to be played" then we wouldn't be so damn worried about concussions.

UGA needs to get the podcast of Pat Dye talking about the blackout game and saying bama was about to whip their arse because UGA wasn't man enough to do anything about it.

Might help motivate and piss em off.

Why does the SEC win the NC every year with grown man football?

The SEC wins it every year because we have better athletes, not because of our style of offense
