People keep talking about the UGA offense vs UA defense, but I think the more interesting matchup is the Alabama O vs the Dawg D. Can Bama put up enough points if Georgia does burn their secondary?

Well...for starters...both Georgia and A&M approach offense in two completely different ways. Georgia is a lot more like Alabama and LSU whereas Texas A&M runs an offense more similar to Oregon and Ole Miss.

Yeah, 98-0 in our last 2 games is very meh. Alabama is clearly playing awful football coming into the game.

Georgia has a Manziel who can threaten the boundaries and then throw across his body right on the money?
Okay. I buy it.

Georgia doesn't have manziel.
But they do have the second leading rusher in the SEC.
Second right behind johnny football

The one player NO ONE is talking about is AJ McCarron. It amazes me how little respect he gets. All your hear about is how Georgia will run away from Alabama if Murray plays well. It's as if McCarron has sucked all year and isn't 2nd in the country in efficiency less than a single point behind Murray and way ahead of the 3rd rated quarterback in the country.
If Alabama's O line can neutralize Georgia's strong pass rush and gives McCarron time to throw. If Alabama can run the ball at all I think McCarron has a good game. McCarron is deadly in the play action passing game.

Vs. West Carolina and one of the worst Auburn teams in history.

I'm hoping UGA plays like crap. They're a very solid team and have played lights out as of late....so they just have to be due for a crappy performance.

I actually think you will see a mix of an Alabama and A&M offense out of UGA. As they have a bunch this season they will run a 4 wide hurry up offense. They have been their best in this formation both running and passing.

Bad team or not it's hard to say Alabama isn't sharp when they've outscored their last 2 opponents 42-0 in the first half of each game. I don't care if you're playing Division II teams that's not that easy to do.

UGA fans should be concerned about the intangibles. While Richt's squad is treating this game like the superbowl, Saban's boys are saying this is just another game. From what I've read, UGA players are more focused on dick measuring than doing their jobs.

Agreed, DrSEC.
The Dawgs can execute offenses from Stanford's power run formations, to I formations, to 4 receiver sets, to going 5 wide.
With our tight ends, we can utilize the same personnel on our 3 wide to 5 wide formations.
And yes, we do run a lot of no huddle and some hurry up offense.
The intent will be to have confusion before the snap much like Bama had against the Aggies.
I don't know if it will work. But with motions, we can get pretty confusing.

UGA doesn't have the OL of A&M and Murray isn't anything close to the running/scrambling threat of JFF. They have an excellent RB but A&M did as well. The WR's are harder to say, both teams are solid there. A&M doesn't use TE's much.
More that that though, the pace is different and the formations and style of the teams are different. A&M is an Air Raid, fast moving offense that is designed to put constant pressure on the defense and has Manziel's mobility and unpredictability to make it even harder to stop. UGA is a more traditional pro style set that has a lot of talented players that execute it well.
The real story of the A&M win though was how the A&M defense played though. They forced turnovers and effectively bottled up Bama's run game for the most part. They got burned on a few deep balls late but otherwise they did a solid job of containing Bama's offense. UGA certainly has the talent to do so and they are deeper but can they?
The thing I would give Bama an edge on is they have the ability to emulate what USC did a lot more than UGA can emulate what A&M did.

As mentioned above...this was true in the past. The Georgia offense looks much different than seasons past. Yes, they do lineup in some of the same sets. However, they have added many more spread formation with long periods in four wide sets. Gurley runs extremely well out of these formats.

It's pretty well split 50/50 between the 2 teams. It's pretty obvious you're scared of Bama and you're trying to convince yourselft otherwise.
